ARTICLE X: PROTEST PROCEDURES
1. The Chapter President and
Tournament Director shall ensure that these procedures are followed.
2. The protesting party officially informs the Tournament Director, member(s)
of the tournament committee, or any Chapter officer of protest in writing.
3. The protesting party submits $50.00 protest fee to the Tournament Director
at the tournament site, for a polygraph or truth verification test to be given
to the accused party. The protesting party will pay in full the cost of
the polygraph or truth verification test before said test takes place, when the
price is set.
4. If any qualifying position is protested, the Tournament Director shall
withhold all moneys.
5. The accused shall submit to the polygraph or truth verification test when
the test can be mutually arranged.
6. The result of the polygraph test shall be agreed as fact and absolute.
7. Refusal to take the polygraph or truth verification test shall result in one
of the following;
a. Disqualification from the tournament, Loss of possible winnings, Loss of
points
b. Loss of membership from Chapter according to ARTICLE II SECTION 6.
8. If the accused is found guilty, by the polygraph or truth verification test,
the accused shall be penalized by one of the following;
a. Disqualification from the tournament, Loss of possible winnings, Loss of
points
b. Loss of membership from Chapter according to ARTICLE II SECTION 6.
9. If the accused is found guilty, by the polygraph or truth verification test
or upon refusal to take said test, this Chapter shall reimburse the protester.
10. If the accuser is found innocent, by the polygraph or truth verification
test, the protester shall;
a. Publicly apologize to the accused
b. Lose the money paid for the polygraph or truth verification test
c. Lose their protest fee
d. Reimburse the accused their tournament fees for the protested tournament
